Is my event date available?

We have a calendar but we will try to accommodate you.

We do not keep a waiting list. 

 

How much are your cakes?

Because all of our cakes are priced individually by the

complexity of their design, we do not have a standard 

price list, our prices are  pricing by slice. 

Due to the care we give to each cake and the one-of-

a kind nature of each order, we require a minimum

on all of our cakes.

 

How do I order a cake?

To start the order process, please send an email to

amaizingcakes@gmail.com containing  the following

information: 

• the date of your event

• the occasion/nature of your event (wedding, bart mitzvah, etc)

• the event location, delivery address, and delivery time

• how many people you will need to feed

• your daytime phone number

• your email address

• an idea of what kind of cake design you are looking for

We will contact you to to discuss your order and/or schedule an appointment.

Our bakery is not open to the public.

We will meet you at the location of your choice.

We do not have any cakes pre-made for sale.

Every cake we make is custom made to order from start to finish.

 

 

What's your payment policy?

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve 

your order; the remainder is due at least two weeks 

prior to your event. Your order is not confirmed until 

we have received your email confirmation of the  contract and 50% non-refundable deposit.

Payment can be made by cash, check (have to be 

clear one week before the event date) or credit card

(Visa, Amex,or Mastercard, and Discover through paypal payment only).

Cake orders placed with less than two weeks notice 

require payment in full by credit card at the time of ordering.

Deposits are non-refundable. 

If you cancel your order, your balance payment is

refundable provided Amaizing Cakes is notified a

least ten (10) business days prior to the event. There is

not a payment refund on orders canceled within 10 

(10) business days of the event. Design/Tasting 

appointments are held for most, but not all, cake orders.

They are for wedding cakes and cakes of $300 and more and it has a cost of $30 for 3 flavors.

Event dates are held for you through the date of the

appointment or quote, and five (5) business days

afterwards. If we do not receive a 50% deposit within five (5) business days of your appointment or quote, date may become unavailable.

 

Do you deliver?

Delivery is available for all our cakes.

We do not ship our cakes.   

Longer deliveries are occasionally arranged, but must be determined on a case-by-case basis. 

While it is generally not a problem for clients to

transport smaller cakes, self-transporting any cake is at your own risk.

Amaizing Cakes does not recommend clients self-

transport 3D/sculptural cakes, cakes over 2 tiers tall,

or any cake more than 3 hours and is not responsible

for any damage that may occur to any client-

transported cake once it has left our kitchen. 

 

Do you ship your cakes?

We do not ship our cakes.

 

Are you hiring?

We are not currently hiring any staff, interns, externs,

unpaid grunts, or volunteers.

 

Can I come to your shop to watch you work?

No. We are not allow to meet customers in our kitchen

because liability purposes. Thanks for understanding.

 

I have dietary restrictions. Can you help?

No, also Amaizing Cakes  is not a certified Kosher establishment and is unable to produce parve cakes. We don't make diet cakes.
